Program Overview:

Sparus Holdings is seeking motivated and driven employees pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related fields. This position provides real-world experience working alongside a high-performance IT and Software Development team.

Position Title: IT Specialist (Intern)

Hourly Wage: $20.00/hour

Program Objective:

The primary goal of this position is to expose employees to the practical aspects of IT operations andsoftware development within a dynamic and efficient technical team. Employees will gain hands-onexperience and mentorship in a variety of areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborating with the software development team on tasks ranging from front-end UI updates to back-end service integration.
• Assisting the System Administrator in the setup and configuration of turn-key services and systems.
• Performing hardware repairs on laptops and mobile devices.
• Drafting software documentation and technical guides.
• Designing and updating flowcharts and processing documentation for development workflows.
• Participating in scheduled IT maintenance and system updates.
• Supporting data entry, analysis, and report generation.
• Working with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation, reporting, and presentation tasks.

Technical Exposure:

Employees may work with a variety of modern tools and frameworks, including:

• Node.js
• ASP.NET
• Microsoft SQL Server
• DevExtreme, DevExtreme-Vue
• Vue.js
• Other widely used development and IT tools

Schedule: Part-Time

Flexible part-time schedule per needs of the department.

Work Location: Remote

Education Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in one of the following (or a related field):

• Information Technology
• Computer Science
• Information Systems

Experience Requirements:

No formal work experience required.

Preferred Experience:

Basic familiarity with IT tools, such as:

• Windows/Mac OS
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira)
• Basic networking concepts

Desirable Skills:

• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn and adapt
• Teamwork and attention to detail
